assumes that either bank of cylinders is making the same amount of power, because the intake tract is seperate. However, the high hp cars with 600whp+ will not make close to the same amount of power on either side. This affects the balance of the crank, and thus the life of the bearings. With this setup, the same amount of boost will be flowing into either bank, and not cause any problems. Why do you think nissan put that little black balance tube on the back of the intake? For that purpose.
